The radio bug truly hit me at Nottingham University where I aired my brand of disco deliciousness with a specialist music show called Boogie Badness. I was nominated for best new comer going to London and receiving an award from Radio 1’s Emma B. I have had a radio presence at student, internet, community and RSL levels.
I have amassed a huge vinyl collection which has served to inspire me to play at lounge and chill out bars. To my name I have played at venues including the backrooms at Gatecrasher, Miss Money Pennys, and Gods Kitchen. (Mainly due to the contemporary music of the day being house & dance – Boogie Badness delivers a clear complimentary sound).

It’s clear that people are still passionate for an era that left people uplifted whilst also dancing down the streets after a night out. I owe so much to the innovative and ground-breaking Disco Funk & Soul era, attracting great friendships and irreplaceable memories along the way.
Disco Funk & Soul itself has formed the basis of today’s contemporary dance and r&b scene. But as Boogie Badness proves ‘it’s still cool to be original’
Playing on Funk-U-Radio has given me the opportunity to inject a unique blend of knowledgeable musical enthusiasm to a diverse audience who aspire to remember the good times. It’s just good music.”
